It’s important to take care of the most important person in your life, You!! You are unique and amazing! It wasn’t until I was surrounded by beautiful aerial yoga mermaids that I realized I don’t have to change one thing about myself. This is who I am.
I know you can get caught up in running around all day worrying about the entire world and forget all about yourself.
Well, I’m here to tell you if you are not taking care of you, you cannot adequately take care of anyone else. Sometimes we think these are selfish Acts, but it simply isn’t so.
By simply being authentic in who you are and in what you think every day is taking more care of yourself than you could ever imagine.
We can accomplish this by being the best version of ourselves the most authentic form of our “higher -self”.
It all starts with you♡
It also starts with healthy eating!
Remember the key ingredient to any healthy lifestyle and healthy eating habits that encourage balance! When are biology is balanced our mind and our soul follow suit.
Some of our New Age Yoga members just went through our 40-day Revolution program and one of the big components is “Equanimity”, finding the flow of balance in our everyday life.
All you have to do is make a few better decisions throughout the week, eat a little bit cleaner, something that’s not drastic that you know you can accomplish!
Maybe cutting out soda or excessive sugar intake. Perhaps you eat cleaner Monday through Thursday and save your cheat days for Friday through Sunday 😉
Whatever small measures you make give yourself credit for taking the initiative and not giving up!
Stop dieting, starving yourself and beating yourself up. You are full of light and love!
It all starts with “I am”….
I am talented.
I am accomplished.
I’m a giver and a receiver.
I am worthy.
I am infinite.
The words you tell yourself are programmed into your brain. Make sure that you are always speaking kind words to yourself and others.
But it’s normal to feel slight symptoms of fatigue, anxiety, depression and anger. It happens to everyone and sometimes unexpectedly, but there are measures you can take to make sure that these do not get out of control and start to run your life.
You control your mind and body; your mind and body do not control you!
Exercise is another amazing way to help your body stay active to keep your mind Sharp and to keep your emotions in alignment!
It is important for us to keep a healthy level of activity. Whether you enjoy walking, running, CrossFit or ♡yoga♡
Remember that any activity is better than none at all! This creates endorphins and fuels your body with positive reinforcement 🙂
Make it a goal to have at least 10 minutes of exercise 3 times a week!

If you are just now making space for physical exercise, again don’t let that hinder you. Meditation and other forms of Wellness is a great way to get started with your own healing process and promote self love in your life.
Wellness can be a hard concept to grasp, but with a little guidance and the right tools you can begin to dive deep and truly understand what it means to have Wellness radiating from inside you!
Meditation can be used to calm the mind the body and the spirit. If you don’t know how to meditate simply close your eyes free yourself from distraction and take 100 deep breaths.
Wellness is not a concept that is in the Ethereal realm or on some distant Island free from normal society.
Wellness is a smile that spreads like wildfire. It’s a loving Embrace after a long hard day. It’s friendship in the most unlikeliest of places. It’s loving yourself before you can love someone else.
Wellness is the knowing that even though we don’t always have control over our experiences and our environment, we have control of ourselves. Always coming back to the self-love first and foremost.
We have to learn to stop Reacting to life and the things we feel happened to us. Having self-love indicates we know that we are not products of our environment that we do have a choice in how we feel each day.
We must learn to take a step back, take three deep breaths and step into a place of love before we make impulsive decisions.
Whether it’s driving in rush-hour traffic or dealing with absent minded coworkers. You can still practice being non-reactive to rewire the way you see the world.
I urge you to give intention and mindfulness to each hour, every minute and each second of your day.
Get off of autopilot, open your eyes look around you, go outside touch the grass with your bare feet reach your hands to the sky and take a deep breath in and remember that you are enough.
It is my hope that each of you become inspired in some way that allows you approach your day with more openness and receptivity to the love and the energy that the universe has to offer you.
We can manifest our destiny and it all starts with those two little words.
